Position: Attorney at Law
Alyssa Flores was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. She grew up in McAllen, Texas and attended McAllen Independent School District from kindergarten through high school. Thereafter, she studied political science at Texas A&M University, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in business. Alyssa went on to attend Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association and President of the Family Law Student Association in addition to serving on the board of multiple other student organizations. Upon graduation, Alyssa was awarded the inaugural Carol Pauli Community Builder Award for her commitment to inclusivity, equity, dignity, and dialogue and helping create and build a sense of community within and throughout the Law School. After graduating law school and passing the Texas bar exam, Alyssa joined Allen & Weaver, P.C. as an Associate Attorney.
When not working Alyssa enjoys cheering on her Texas Aggies, reading, traveling, and enjoying all the metroplex has to offer!
